What scop does electronics and communication engineering have?

SCOPE: Electronics And Communication Engineering

Today is the day of information and technology. People having access to information are reachest person in today's society. So several effort have been made for the development in the field of communication.
For information transfer several devices are developed and are under development for quick and reliable delivery of message. So electronics engineering deal with advancement of communication technique. It may include advancements in microelectronics, satellite and optical fibre technology. Advancement in analog and digital communication system leads in the invention of several electronics devices. complex circute are being developing and further research is being taken for batter, effective and reliable  transmission of information in telecommunication system. Real time transmission of audio and video transmission is possible due to development of broad band technology.

Not only in field of communication, electronics engineering can also be used in medical field, instrumentation, automation, remote sensing and signal processing.

Electronic engineering in Medical field
Now  question arise where does graduate get job?
A graduate in electronic and communication engineering ca get job in goverment ,semi-goverment  and private companies for installation, operation and maintenance of electronics equipments and systems. There are many national and international companies available for job vacency. Industries involved in design and fabrication of devices, integrated circuits, embedded systems, electronic equipments etc have also provide large scale placements for engineers with this specilisation. Installation and maintenance of electronic equipments used for health care in hospitals, equipments & systems for instrumentation and control in process industries automation systems of assembly line in production industries, etc are also handled by electronics engineers.
Knowledge of computer hardware, networking equipments and communication systems enables electronics engineering graduate helped them to annexe an edge in the IT job market. The skills and understanding developed in the course enable them to be preferred, as software professionals by IT companies.
In Nepal  the electronics engineer can get job in those companies where electronics equipments plays vital role..for eg.Nepal Telecom, Ncell, airport,Electricity Authority etc. If you are tallent then you can open your own companies to produce devices such as mobile companies, inverter companies etc.....

How much does an Electronic engineer earn?

  • Starting salaries for newly graduated electrical/electronics engineers are in the range of £18,000-£29,000. Salaries for PhD holders may be higher.
  • Qualified electronics engineers can earn between £35,000 and £45,000, with more senior engineers earning between £40,000 and £55,000. Highly experienced engineers can earn in excess of £65,000.
  • Salaries vary from company to company, with some sectors attracting higher salaries due to demand.
